Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Director of US Sales to focus on expanding their client base across US. The role will involve territory planning, forming sales plans and executing against them by generating new business in strategic regions and industries. The Director will be able to sell solutions spanning our client’s full end-to-end services, including Data Engineering, BI & Analytics, Data Science & Bioinformatics.
The individual will be working closely with their Sales Director of Canada, their Marketing Team, and their Client Delivery team to come up with unique go-to-market offerings within the key service areas. They will spend the majority of their time building new relationships within target accounts to land new logos. Content and case study generation, especially in relation to new projects landed may well be an expectation for this role too.
Successful Candidate:
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue and margin targets
- Ability to design, execute, and assess effective sales and marketing campaigns
- Proven ability to sell projects, solutions, and embedded consultants across industry segments within a technical data environment
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
- Has successfully sold consulting services onshore and offshore
- Ability to work closely and partner effectively with Delivery Managers in order to enable organic revenue growth
- Has an existing network that will help accelerate the candidates success to achieving US sales targets
- Experience selling cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake
- Proven success establishing and maintaining relationships with client procurement departments
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
- Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar sales role
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Proficient at HubSpot and all Office Products
