Job Title: Senior Sales Executive – Cloud. VMWare & Data Center Solutions
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Executive with deep expertise in the VMware market to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on selling a diverse range of cloud solutions, data center services, and modernization services to enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling cloud migrations, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and services related to VMware environments. Also have experience in the channel and MSP/CSP community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
○ Identify and develop new business opportunities within the VMware market.
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT directors, and decision-makers.
○ Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand their customer base.
2. Cloud and Data Center Solutions:
○ Promote and sell our comprehensive cloud solutions, including Migration Factory as a Service, which offers migration from VMware to hyperscalers like AWS, GCP, Azure, or CSP/MSPs.
○ Advocate for their Adoption and Tuning as a Service, emphasizing the replacement of SAN with vSAN, and network components with NSX-T and other VMware components.
○ Drive sales for their Upgrade Factory, which includes maintenance, support, monitoring, and patching of existing VMware stacks.
3. Cloud Management Services:
○ Present and sell cloud management services such as Cost Management & Optimization (FinOps), Observability and Monitoring, Life Cycle Management, Data Protection and Redundancy, Disaster Recovery, Ransomware Recovery, and Continuous Service Improvement.
4. Modernization Services:
○ Market their API Management, DevOps, DevSecOps, and ML Ops services to potential clients.
○ Highlight the benefits of their modernization services in transforming and optimizing IT environments.
5. Data Center Services:
○ Lead sales efforts for data center services including Data Center Optimization, Data Center Decommissioning, and Data Center Consolidation or Migration.
○ Provide clients with tailored solutions to enhance their data center operations and efficiency.
6. Supplementary Solutions:
○ Promote staffing solutions, including tech professionals, managers, project managers, and AI/ML solution architects.
○ Drive sales for data solutions such as big data, blockchain, and data governance.
○ Highlight their application solutions, including web and mobile applications, ERP, and CRM systems.
Qualifications:
● Experience:
○ Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the VMware market or related field.
○ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
○ Experience selling cloud solutions, data center services, and IT modernization services.
● Skills:
○ Strong understanding of VMware environments and associated technologies.
○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
○ Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
○ Strong negotiation and closing skills.
○ Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
● Education:
○ Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
