Role Summary:

Our client is seeking a seasoned Professional Services Salesperson with specialized expertise in selling outsourced IT services, including digital transformation, to mid-market companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the American market and an understanding of fulfilment operations in India. This role is pivotal in cultivating relationships, identifying trends, and positioning our client as industry leaders while securing new business and growing existing account revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Networking:

  • Attend industry events alongside the CEO for networking purposes and represent the company in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Host client/prospect events or dinners in coordination with industry events to enhance client relationships and generate new leads.

Thought Leadership and Content Development:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify industry trends, ensuring our client is at the forefront as subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content to elevate our client’s industry standing and engage potential clients.

Partnership Cultivation:

  • Brainstorm with the marketing team to identify strategic partnership opportunities with software vendors, complementary service providers, and other potential lead sources.
  • Foster these partnerships to create new avenues for lead generation.

Lead Management:

  • Develop new business opportunities via strategic outreach.
  • Ensure a high-quality, seamless sales process to close deals.
  • Support with growing account values over time through upsell and cross sell.

Relationship Nurturing:

  • Collaborate with marketing to design and execute targeted email drip campaigns to build and maintain relationships with new leads.
  • Encourage prospects to engage in sales meetings, fostering progression through the sales funnel.

Competitive Positioning:

  • Fully comprehend and articulate our client’s unique selling propositions and key differentiators when compared to competitors.
  • Communicate effectively with prospects to convey these differentiators, adding value to client conversations and enhancing sales potential.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, particularly in outsourced IT services and digital transformation solutions.
  • Demonstrated success selling to mid-market companies and familiarity with enterprise-level project requirements.
  • Strong network within the IT industry and knowledge of market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for persuasive and clear conveyance of complex technical concepts.
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate competitive landscapes.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in nurturing leads and cultivating partnerships.
  • Availability to travel for industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field preferred.
